Marvel Studios and Sony have been teasing it and now it’s finally here: the new trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home — and it is good.

So yes, it’s a family reunion of Spider-Man’s greatest villain hits including Green Goblin, Sandman, Lizard, Electro, and Doc Ock. Side note: it’s hilarious how Peter (Tom Holland), MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon) throw hella shade at Dr. Dr. Otto Octavius’s name.

Anyway, if it wasn’t clear that we were entering the multiverse from the jump, the new trailer just confirmed that Spidey opened some sort of portal to other Spider-verses hence the appearance of this motley crew of villains. We are still in the dark about whether other iterations of Parker (Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire or Shameik Moore) will appear. I am betting that Marvel is playing these cards close to the chest… and I am pretty sure one or more of these Spideys may pop up in this sure-to-be-bonkers installment of Holland’s Spider-Man.

In any case, we definitely know that Alfred Molina as Doc Ock is in the mix as is Jamie Foxx as Electro. We also hear the voice of Willem Dafoe‘s Green Goblin and we clearly see Spidey battling Rhys Ifans and Thomas Haden Church‘s Lizard and Sandman respectively. Spidey also has a new suit thanks to his new bud Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch)

Directed by Jon Watts and written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers, the official synopsis of Spider-Man: No Way Home reads: “For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.”

This is gonna be wild and my body is ready.
