Halston star Krysta Rodriguez needs her Space and Ally Maki (Toy Story 4), Caleb Hearon (Fargo) and Rachel Pegram (Don’t Think Twice) are joining her.

Rodriguez, who can be currently seen serving Studio 54 realness as Liza Minelli in the aforementioned Ryan Murphy limited series, stars opposite Jake Lacy in the TBS comedy pilot Space, which is described as a “romantic Quantum Leap“, according to Deadline. They play Marin and Rob, a long-term couple on the verge of a break-up who are granted the ultimate space to figure out their future when they suddenly begin jumping into the bodies of other couples. Maki, Pegram and Hearon have been cast as series regulars for the pilot.

Rob (Lacy) is described as a guy who everyone loves but he has no idea what he wants. Marin (Rodriguez) is his lovably eager girlfriend who hasn’t yet accepted she’s an adult. Their relationship’s reckoning happens during their friend Priscilla’s (Maki) wedding, after Priscilla fights off intense cold feet to dive into commitment, causing their other friends, Jesse (Hearon) and Hannah (Pegram) to question Rob and Marin’s chronic avoidance of marriage.

Space is written and executive produced by Hilary Winston and executive produced by Nick Stoller of Stoller Global Solutions. Shooting begins in Portland in June. Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul (Miracle Workers: Dark Ages) have been tapped to direct and executive produce. Produced by Sony Pictures Television for TBS.
