Jameela Jamil went from The Good Place to giving 10s in Legendary and now the actress is set to cause some trouble in Disney+‘s forthcoming series She-Hulk.

This is Titania

The girls at the other trades have confirmed this information and Jamil reportedly will play Titania, a Marvel supervillain with incredible strength and a frequent rival of She-Hulk. For some reason, this seems like a good bout of casting. The series will be directed by Kat Coiro and will executive produce alongside Jessica Gao who is head writer for the series.

She-Hulk centers on lawyer Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), cousin of Bruce Banner, who inherits his Hulk powers after she receives a blood transfusion from him. Unlike Bruce, however, when she hulks out Jennifer is able to retain most of her personality, intelligence, and emotional control.

We are excited for this series, obviously but we also applaud the Marvel Cinematic Universe for casting a person of color in a role that is traditionally portrayed by a white woman. Progress!

The series also stars Renée Elise Goldsberry, Ginger Gonzaga and Tim Roth, who appeared in pre-Mark Ruffalo The Incredible Hulk. That said, Ruffalo will also appear in the series as Bruce. Let’s hope The Hulk is still in the casual wear phase we saw him in during Endgame.
