Before we see Awkwafina enter the fantastical world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside Simu Liu in Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, we will get to see her continue her bonkers, weed-infused adventures in the second season of Awkwafina is Nora From Queens on Comedy Central which debuts with a two-episode event on August 18 at 10pm ET/PT.
The first trailer to the sophomore season to the comedy dropped today and we see Nora continue her Queens coming of age journey with her dad Wally (BD Wong), Grandma (Lori Tan Chinn) while her enjoyably judgmental cousin Edmund (Bowen Yang). The season also seesthe return of Gabo Augustine, Michelle Buteau, Jennifer Esposito, Chrissie Fit, Jonathan ‘Dumbfoundead’ Park, Jaboukie Young White, Wai Ching Ho, and Liang Yin.
