The first season of The Real World in New York taught us the complexities of bringing seven strangers from various walks of life in a house together. The second season of The Real World in Los Angeles taught us the messy potential reality TV has — and it was iconic.

Paramount+ dropped the first trailer for The Real World Homecoming: Los Angeles and it features a reunion of some of the original cast members: Beth Anthony, Beth Stolarczyk, Glen Naessens, Irene Berrera-Kearns, Jon Brennan as well as Tami “It Wasn’t Not Funny Roman and David Edwards who made history as the first Real World-er to be kicked out. They all will be living in the same Venice beach house from 1993 and based on the trailer it is going to be DRAMA and we can’t wait for when the series premieres on November 24… just in time for Thanksgiving!

It’s great to see everyone and the mess they will bring to this reunion but where is Dominic? Where is Aaron? I guess we will find out.

It may be tame by today’s standard, but the L.A. season of The Real World tackled issues such as as same-sex relationships, abortion, consent, safe sex and eating disorders — and those were super controversial subjects in the ’90s. Hell, they are still kind of controversial today. So maybe nothing has changed. In any case, the new reunion season will include never-before-seen “confessional” style interviews and other juicy things we can sink our teeth into.

The Real World is executive produced by Sitarah Pendelton-Eaglin, Candida Boyette-Clemons and Nadim Amiry for MTV Entertainment Studios; and Jonathan Murray, Julie Pizzi, Erica Ross, Kevin Lee and James Knox for Bunim/Murray Productions. Skye Topic, Jacob Lane, Joe Rosenzweig and Lauren Goldstein serve as co-executive producers, and George Verschoor is consulting producer.
