Every time I hear that distinct Jurassic Park theme song, I think of the time back in high school when our marching band did a whole show dedicated to John Williams songs including this one.

Anyway, the first trailer for Jurassic World Dominion has dropped and to no surprise, it has dinosaurs causing trouble.

Dubbed as the “epic conclusion of the Jurassic era”, the installment of the multi-billion dollar franchise directed by Colin Trevorrow takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.

Dominion welcomes new faces to the mix including DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It), Emmy nominee Mamoudou Athie (Archive 81), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Scott Haze (Minari), and Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man 2). In addition, we see the return of BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu, Justice Smith as Franklin Webb, Daniella Pineda as Dr. Zia Rodriguez and Omar Sy as Barry Sembenè as well as Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt.

Also, as an added bonus we see the return of Jurassic Park OGs Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill.

Trevorrow directs a script he co-wrote with Emily Carmichael (Battle at Big Rock). Producers are  Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley. The movie  is executive produced by franchise creator Steven Spielberg, Alexandra Derbyshire and Trevorrow. The film comes from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment in association with Perfect World Pictures.
