A house party, alcohol, maybe drugs, and some sort of party game that involves slapping. What could possibly go wrong?
Directed by Halina Reijn and written by Sarah DeLappe based on story by Kristen Roupenian, Bodies Bodies Bodies debuted at the SXSW Film Festival earlier this year and will be released theatrically on August 5. The first trailer for the film dropped and there’s enough ambiguity in it that gives off the perfect amount of WTF energy.
Starring Amandla Stenberg, Myha’la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, Maria Bakalova, Rachel Sennott, Lee Pace, and Pete Davidson, Bodies Bodies Bodies follows a group of rich twentysomethings as they plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion. Things get derailed as a party game goes awry. Get ready for a lot of fun backstabbing, fake friends, and a house party that was destined to go very, very wrong.
Bodies Bodies Bodies features an original song from Charli XCX. IT is produced by David Hinojosa and Ali Herting.
