Get ready to see Raymond Lee navigate through the space time continuum! NBC has given a series order to Quantum Leap which will feature the actor in the reboot of the classic series that debuted in 1989.
The series is set in present time. It’s been 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett (played by Scott Bakula in the original series) stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now a new team has been assembled to restart the project in the hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it.
The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group. Written and executive produced by Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt, and executive produced by Martin Gero, as well as Quantum Leap creator/EP Don Bellisario and EP/co-narrator Deborah Pratt.
