Joel Kim Booster is having plenty of moments as of late — and we are here for it! The actor/writer/comedian is still celebrating the release of his Hulu/Searchlight Pride & Prejudice adjacent queer rom-com Fire Island; he appears in the upcoming Apple TV+ series Loot; and now he has his debut Netflix stand-up comedy special Psychosexual!
Directed by Doron Max Hagay and filmed at Catch One in L.A. Psychosexual is crafted into a three set act. Booster discusses learning the cultural nuances of being Asian as he gets older, shares his preference for threesomes with tips for successful masturbation and his fascination for human sexuality and much more.
Booster and Hagay serve as executive producers of Psychosexual alongside Zack Freedman, Tony Hernandez, Séamus Murphy-Mitchell, and Brooke Posch.
