Paramount has dropped the first trailer for Damien Chazelle‘s highly-anticipated Babylon and it is uncensored — but nothing terribly raunchy. You will hear Margot Robbie snort the stars off the Paramount logo and you will see glimpses of some boobs. I mean, who hasn’t seen a boob?

Bablyon, which opens in limited release on December 25 before going wide on January 6, 2023, is dubbed as an “original epic” and is set in 1920s Los Angeles. It’s “a tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.”

So in other words, not much has changed in Hollywood in the past 100 years.

As you can see, the cast is hella stacked with Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, and Jean Smart as well as enough actors to fill an elementary school classroom: P.J. Byrne, Lukas Haas, Olivia Hamilton, Tobey Maguire, Max Minghella, Rory Scovel, Katherine Waterston, Flea, Jeff Garlin, Eric Roberts, Ethan Suplee, Samara Weaving, and Olivia Wilde

Babylon is written and directed by Chazelle. PRoducers are Marc Platt, p.g.a., Matthew Plouffe, p.g.a., and Olivia Hamilton, p.g.a. It is executive produced by Michael Beugg, Tobey Maguire, Wyck Godfrey, Helen Estabrook, and Adam Siegel with music by Justin Hurwitz.
