“My mom doesn’t tell me how to live my life… Megan Thee Stallion does.”

Those are the best words spoken on television this year — and they come from Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) in the sophomore season of Never Have I Ever.

Netflix dropped a trailer for Mindy Kaling’s new season of the uber-popular coming-of-age comedy which features Indian American teenager Devi navigating the everyday pressures of high school and drama at home, while also navigating new romantic relationships. As we see in the trailer, she’s juggling two boyfriends in her life (nice!) and is threatened by the new Indian girl in school. We can already tell it’s gonna be fun season.

Never Have I Ever is created by executive producer Mindy Kaling, with Lang Fisher serving as co-creator, executive producer, showrunner and writer. The Universal Television project is also executive produced by 3 Arts Entertainment’s Howard Klein and David Miner.
