James Gunn is playing for BOTH teams… and by that I mean Marvel and DC.
The filmmaker’s iteration of The Suicide Squad dropped a new trailer which essentially puts Idris Elba at the center of it all… as it should. The new trailer gives us more of what we could expect from this film (which hopefully makes up for the 2016 version) including a whole conversation about buttholes.
The Suicide Squad debuts in theaters and drops on HBO Max on August 6.
In addition to Elba and Davis, the movie has a massive cast that includes Alice Braga, Storm Reid, Mayling Ng, Tinashe Kajese, Joaquín Cosio, Daniela Melchior, Margot Robbie, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Peter Capaldi, David Dastmalchian, Michael Rooker, Pete Davidson, Juan Diego Botto, Nathan Fillion, Steve Agee, Sean Gunn, Flula Borg, Jennifer Holland with Sylvester Stallone.
