In the first season of Ziwe, the titular talk show host bought us iconic interviews and sketches featuring a wide array of people including Fran Lebowitz, Andrew Yang, Gloria Steinem, Stacey Abrams, Phoebe Bridgers, Bowen Yang, Patti Harrison, Cristin Milioti, Jane Krakowski, Cole Escola and many others. Some of them were fun, some of them were fun AND wildly uncomfortable.

She brings that fun energy to the second season which will debut on streaming and on-demand platforms on April 29 before going linear on Showtime May 1 at 11pm.

As you can see, the new season picks up where it left off and unpacks all the things including critical race theory, gay pride, woke capitalism and more uncomfortable things a lot of (white) people don’t really like talking about. And, of course, the show wouldn’t be Ziwe without some musical numbers and sketches.

This season’s guests include a fabulous mix of people including Charlamagne Tha God, Chet Hanks, Emily Ratajkowski, Ilana Glazer, Hannibal Buress, Nicole Byer, Mia Kalifa, Adam Pally and Deux Moi, along with special appearances by Jane Krakowski and Luann de Lesseps.

Grab the popcorn because this should be really fun.

Ziwe serves as an excutive producer along with Jamund Washington, Hunter Speese and Jo Firestone. The series is produced by A24.
