Quinta Brunson is staying booked and busy!
The A Black Lady Sketch Show alum and Abbott Elementary creator and star is set to guest star on the upcoming Party Down revival at Starz. The news was announced during Variety‘s “Actors on Actors” series during a kiki between Brunson Adam Scott.
Brunson is an addition to a new cast of characters that includes Zoë Chao, Tyrel Jackson Williams, Jennifer Garner, and James Marsden. They will join returning cast members Scott, Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen and Megan Mullally for the six-episode limited series. Unfortunately, Lizzy Caplan was unable to return for the revival as she is in production with Fleishman Is in Trouble and Fatal Attraction.
Brunson will play Jaff, who is described as the “sharp, calculating agent” to Hansen’s Kyle.
